My Knight and Shining Armor.. FOREVER

He will FOREVER be my knight and shining armor

He's my superman or batman or spiderman or ironman
He's my HERO and always will be

Who is HE?

He's my dad ♥

Yes guys, my knight and shining armor is not my boyfriend
but my dad.
And always will be.

As a girl, it's most likely that we're all so much closer to our mums.
and in a teenage girl's head?
our dad is prolly the last person we can relate to.
yeap, that's true.
but why should we simply kick them out or ignore them?
What right do we have to be rude towards them?

They've worked as hard as mum as raising us up.
They are the ones that picked us up when we fell.
Carried us to bed when we fell asleep on the sofa
Held our hands when we were afraid
Carried us on their shoulders when we were too short

I could go on and on...

My dad is getting older
He has always been that type of person that doesn't really show his feelings
But lately... I think he's softening up :)

I miss him
I have always been a daddy's girl
I am so grateful to have him as my dad
yes, we have our arguments and I hate him at times
But that doesn't mean I love him any less.

He's my dad
and
He IS my knight and shining armor
FOREVER

I know we may not all have a father figure in our lives
but to those who have.
